Perfect traditional grill house in the heart of a beautiful neighbourhood!
It owns and running by a very cheerful family !
Must go !
A beautiful Athenian tavern with a moonlit terrace is the Trojan Horse.
The place is a classic tavern style, although I think a refresh would do it good.
His food is mainly seasonal, and he also serves a pie of the day (I tried a vegetable pie). Its flavors range at a decent level, but without anything overpowering and blowing me away.
The service is very friendly.
Its prices are affordable.
If anyone is in the area, it's a decent solution...
The rooftop is taken from a black and white Greek film and it's hard to believe that all this coolness that surrounds you is in the center of Athens. The taste comes and clicks right into this feeling.... Magically baked ribs, homemade fries, freshly cut, thinly sliced, and salad with red tomato and fragrant cucumber... Dorian things... Delicious in their essence, without needing frou frou and gourmedhazomares... Everything wonderful...
Overall the place looks cute and the family running the restaurant is nice.
I was disappointed though by 2 things:
1- the mix grill we ordered tasted weird, as if it was not fresh.
2- we were a big table of 12 people or more, the only customers that night, and we ordered a lot. I would have expected an offer from them (a round of wine or Tsipouro on the house) as it would have happened anywhere else.
Beautiful and quiet environment for food, wine and good company. Good food reasonable prices. Nice yard and garden. I suggest.
A family tavern without fanfare, simple and delicious
Meraklis from the few. Ribs, fries and a salad to go with it.
my worst experience in a tavern!
portions small and frozen without a trace of oil.
ribs that for half a kilo they brought us 5 pieces which together were not even 150g and in fact when we complained they insulted us to our face and spoke badly of us.
I paid and left
all the staff who are probably also the owners are rude except for the little girl who serves
